Vietnam’s low-cost airline adds flights


At Singapore, on 13 March 2015: Vietjet Air has announced plans to increase flights from one to two daily on its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route, effective 30 May.

The airline says the growth is due to a growing demand for low-cost air travel between the two destinations.

It's only two roundtrips per day; the new route will have a capacity of 5,040 seats a week. The expanded plan will see daily flights depart Singapore Changi International Airport at 1350 and 1800 (local times). At HCMC’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, two hours and five minutes is for the flight time of flights departs at 0855 and 1400 (local times).

Currently, Vietjet operates 150 flights daily with a fleet of 21 A320 Airbus aircraft on 28 routes. To go on routes expanding, Vietjet will take delivery of more Airbus A320s this September.
