Recently, a negotiation has been held between the representatives of Kazakhstan’s Air Astana and the HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to seek cooperation opportunities to boost the service that should be launched early next year.

By extending its service in Bangkok, the airline plans three weekly flights to HCMC. Air Astana currently serves Bangkok with four weekly flights from Amalty.

According to the report, Air Astana has unveiled its flight schedule for the forthcoming route and a marketing campaign to build traffic locally in Ho Chi Minh City. The carrier will join the International Travel Expo (ITE) HCMC to make contact with travel agents and introduce the service.

The airlines will continue introducing services to Hong Kong and Singapore respectively in July and October.
